Hilton Head's Island Medical Spa is a combination of a day spa and medical clinic, operating under the care of trained physicians. Dr. Kenneth D. Farr, MD
Dr. Kenneth D. Farr, MD is the Medical Director of Island Medical Spa on Hilton Head Island. Dr. Farr is a board-certified ophthalmologist and specializes in ophthalmic plastic surgery. He is also a member of The American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, The American Society of Laser Medicine and Surgery, and was the first Certified Botox Cosmetic physician in Lowcountry.
Kathy Cooksey
Kathy Cooksey has a remarkable understanding of what it takes to look and feel your best. She has been a licensed Cosmetologist for 25 years and a Licensed Esthetician for the past 6. She specializes in the care of aging skin as well as wedding and photography make up. Kathy did her training in Los Angeles at the Westmore Academy for the Cosmetic Arts. While there she studied Makeup Artistry and became certified in Paramedical Makeup. Kathy has spent the last 4 years as owner of the successful Arbor Door Day Spa on Hilton Head, where she developed a loyal following.
Shirley Nichols
Shirley Nichols is a licensed Massage Therapist with over 10 years of experience. Shirley specializes in deep tissue and therapeutic touch and also offers hot stone therapy and cellulite reduction.
Brenda Whitlow
Brenda Whitlow is a Micropigmentation Specialist with over 10 years experience in the field of permanent cosmetics. Brenda is board certified through the American Academy of Micropigmentation as well as a member of the Society of Permanent Cosmetics.

Teresa Kitchings
Teresa Kitchings started her career in the beauty industry in 1999 as an Estee Lauder Business Manager, where she stayed until January 2007. In this time she learned skin care was her passion and she graduated esthetic school in 2006. Ultimately becoming a Licensed Esthetician and Office Manager for Hilton Head Island's Island Medical Spa. With 8 years experience in treating clients of all skin types and conditions Teresa looks forward to seeing you at Island Medical Spa.

Cancellation Policy
Treatments are selected and reserved specifically for your needs, based upon availability. In order to best accommodate all guests, we require 24-hour advanced notification of changes and cancellations. Cancellations within the 24-hour time period are subject to 50% cancellation penalty. No notification of a cancellation will result in a full charge for your treatments.

Island Medical Spa accepts all major credit cards, debit cards, cash, travelers checks and local checks for all products and services.
